This is the first time we are bringing a self-supported gravel race to the West Nile region of Uganda. As a pilot race, it’s an opportunity to be part of something new, bold, and pioneering.
The route will challenge you. Gravel roads, river valleys, open savannahs, and remote trails will test your endurance, navigation, and resilience. Along the way, you’ll encounter spectacular landscapes, wildlife (with some luck, members of the Big Five), and vibrant local communities.
We are looking for a trailblazer to explore West Nile. If you are ready to step off the beaten path, embrace a real challenge, and connect deeply with the people and the place, then this is the race you are looking for.
Up for the challenge!?
Become an exclusive Nile Explorer. Secure your place on the registration list before spots are gone. We’re particularly happy to encourage female riders to join and want to create a participant field that reflects real diversity.
